HCS’ Human Resources Department is dedicated to recruiting and retaining the most qualified individuals within the national work force. The Department continually assesses outside opportunities that can benefit HCS’ staff, and ensures fair and consistent treatment of the staff through policy & procedure development.
Development of staff through both internal and external training & educational opportunities is one of our Department’s top priorities. HCS houses an on-line training system from which Agency employees receive mandatory training. The system also allows human services curriculum building which serves as certified educational units toward licensing and other careers.
Our Department is committed to assuring that HCS’ employees are paid marketable wages. A progressive classification and compensation plan promotes HCS as one of the highest paying human services agencies in the area.
HCS understands the challenges employees face in providing for their families. To aid in that challenge, we offer a benefit package which includes quality medical care & a prevailing retirement plan. Also included in this benefit package is a liberal paid time off (PTO) plan which allows staff time away from work to be with their loved ones or just have down-time to focus on themselves.
Staff recognition is accomplished through years of service awards and special employee reward programs. In recognizing employees as our number one asset, HCS holds three employee celebrations throughout the year, consisting of an annual holiday party and summer picnic to entertain both staff and their families.
