Construction Project

Highlands Community Services Center for Behavioral Health intends to enter into an interim or comprehensive agreement with Highlands Development Services, LLC and J.A. Investments, LLC related to construction of a commercial building on a 3.5 acre building tract owned by HCS at 414 Ivy Street in Abingdon VA. HCS is following state Public-Private Educational Facilities Infrastructure Act (PPEA) guidelines and is making available for public inspection all proposals received for this project from the following:

• Burwil Construction Company, Inc.
• Dan Stanley Construction
• Highlands Development Services, LLC and J.A. Investments, LLC
• Nickels, Inc.

The above proposals are available for public inspection and public comment during a thirty (30) day period beginning on October 1, 2009 and ending on October 31, 2009.  Interested parties may contact Danny Gilliam, HCS Procurement Manager at 276-525-1567 to arrange for inspection of proposals.    

All comments must be submitted in writing to Danny Gilliam, Procurement Manager, 610 Campus Drive, Suite 210 Abingdon, VA 24210 by 5:00 pm on October 31, 2009.
