Suboxone Services
Buprenorphine (Suboxone) Treatment Services are provided to opioid-dependent individuals determined to be in need of this treatment. Following an intensive enrollment period of at least three weeks which includes completion of an in-depth evaluation of appropriateness, attendance to Intensive Outpatient services three times per week and a minimum of weekly contact with a care coordinator, buprenorphine services may be recommended if supported by the treatment team.

Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Treatment Services provide persons with substance abuse problems and their families, treatment in a supportive and challenging environment. A variety of tracts are available to best accommodate the clinical needs of those served. Specialty tracts are also available for women, adolescents and individuals involved in the criminal justice system, as well as individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders.

Drug Court Services
Highlands Community Services is the sole treatment services provider for the Washington County Drug Court Program, with anticipated length of treatment for participants of twelve to twenty-four months. Evidence Based Treatment is utilized along with group and individual counseling. HCS encourages and facilitates connections to 12-Step programs in the community, and participants are continually re-assessed to assure that treatment services continue to meet their needs. Highlands also participates in the Federal Re-Entry Program for substance abusing individuals re-entering the community following Federal incarceration.

ACCESS is the entryway into any HCS program or service for individual consumers and referring agencies. Your call will be answered by a trained Access specialist who will ask you some simple questions and get basic information.
